Everyone with Diabetes Counts

Alliant Quality, the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization for Georgia and North Carolina, is sponsoring a free 6-week workshop, Everyone with Diabetes Counts, for Senior Adults
The interactive, hands-on workshop is led by two Peer Educators who have been trained in the Diabetes Education Empowerment Program (DEEP), a diabetes self-management education curriculum developed and licensed by the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Living Well with Diabetes:

Living with diabetes can present many challenges, such as knowing how and when to eat, living your life so you can avoid complications, and getting the support you want from family and friends. Living Well with Diabetes Workshop can help you manage these concerns.  The Workshop is free and open to those ages 18 and older living with prediabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, and/or their caregivers.
Workshops are led by two trained facilitators.
